Popular pub for sale near Perth

A pub near Perth, Scotland, is up for sale after the business went into liquidation, it has been revealed.

The Anglers Inn was a former Inspectors' Favourite in the Michelin Eating Out in Pubs Guide and has enjoyed success with locals and tourists who have enjoyed the food and drink on offer.

However, the owner and operator of the Anglers Inn, New Skyline Developments, went into liquidation this January so the property is to be sold.

The pub has capacity for 60 covers, a public bar, six letting rooms and a large private car park. Offers in the region of £325,000 are being invited by the agent Colliers International.

Alistair Letham, a director for the agent, commented: “Although superficially the façade of the Anglers Inn has a quintessentially Scottish simplicity, this completely belies the quality and standard of accommodation and services that is offered.

“The availability of the Anglers Inn offers a great opportunity for new owners to re-establish a thriving property at the property.”

The building is also well-located on the busy A93 Perth to Blairgowrie and Braemar road.
