Premium Pest Control acquired by Cleankill

Surrey-based Cleankill Environmental Services has purchased Premium Pest Control in a move to expand its customer base in the Greater London area.

The purchase will take Cleankill's contract portfolio to just under £1 million thanks to the additional various new customers, including government agencies, local authorities, housing associations, letting agencies and a number of other well-known businesses.

Managing director of the purchasing company, Paul Bates, commented: “We are delighted to announce the purchase of Premium Pest Control and welcome a number of new customers. Premium Pest Control has built a strong reputation for excellent customer service which is why the company was such a good fit with our brand.”

Cleankill has been established in the pest sector for over 15 years and deals with both commercial and domestic companies using pesticides and non-toxic pest control methodology. Its turnover for 2011 stood at £128,000, which should hopefully be augmented by the addition of Premium Pest Control's contract portfolio of £45,000.

Premium Pest Control's decision to sell was influenced by its owner's move to Wales. Two of its staff have since been taken into the Cleankill business.
