Pubs for sale following administration

Five two pubs scattered across the north of the country are up for sale after their owners entered administration.

Located in Wellingborough, Rothwell, Thrapston, Raunds and Burton Latimer, the properties are licensed and up for sale on the instruction of Zolfo Cooper.

Paul Newby director of the agency selling the pubs commented: “Collectively the sites are very different, therefore may suit individual purchasers, however, as a group, they may well appeal to a multiple operator with a good proposition and ambition to grow quickly in the region.

“This eclectic group of pubs range from wet-led town based pubs, to traditional village Inns with a reputation for food – they also come to market at a wide range of price points.”

He added that all of the pubs are “attractive buildings”, noting that they are “generally in good order”.

Offers can be put forward for the properties on either an individual or a group basis. They are on offer on a mixture of a lease and freehold basis, with four on offer with free-of-tie leases – something buyers could find particularly tempting if they don't want to be tied into using a certain brewery.
