Stinky's Peephouse up for sale

A nightclub in Leeds has been put on the market, offering an unusual opportunity for the right buyer.

Stinky's Peephouse is a three-storey building in Leeds city centre and operates as a 700-capacity night club. The location is close to other arts and entertainment venues, including West Yorkshire Playhouse, Leeds College of Music and BBC Radio Leeds.

It has operated as a nightclub for several years now and has hosted such internationally acclaimed DJs as Todd Terry, Paul Woolford and Felix the Housecat.

Nick McTague, from Edward Symmons in Leeds, told the Business Desk: “The sale provides a unique opportunity for someone to acquire one of Leeds’s most famous nightclub venues.

"With multiple floors and decked beer garden the club has attracted some of the world’s biggest name DJs over the years and its reputation continues to draw revellers from around the country.”

The location of the property makes it suitable for conversion into a different business. But the club was initially set up as a members' club and operated as an alternative to the city's more mainstream nightlife options, providing a number of successful nights.
