A popular tea room and cupcake shop in Rawtenstall is due to be put on the market as its owner is set to relocate.
The Right RoyalTea Party business, on Ormerod Street, opened in 2011 and last year took the New Business of the Year award in the Rossendale Business Awards. The Fantasy Cupcakes division of the business has been in operation for five years and is also popular with locals.
Owner Melinda Foster is selling the business ahead of her move to the South Devon coast. She is keen to find somebody to take over the company who is interested in maintaining the standards her customers have come to enjoy.
Ms Foster told the Rossendale & Hyndburn Business Blog: "Due to my relocation to the South Devon coast regrettably my business is for sale. I feel that A Right RoyalTea Party tea rooms/Fantasy Cupcakes would suit someone with a passion for baking and vintage style.
“The premises benefits from a town centre location in Rawtenstall, but with low rent and rates. I would also like to thank all the customers who have supported me in the five years I have been running the business in Rossendale," she added.
