West Yorkshire pubs for sale following administration of owner

Following the administration of The Lighthouse Pub Company, three West Yorkshire-based pubs have been put onto the market.

Administrators BDO have instructed specialist property consultancy Colliers International to sell the pubs, with interested parties being asked to make their final and best offers as soon as possible.

One of the pubs to go onto the market is The Bridge on Manchester Road in Longroyd Bridge, with comprises a lounge bar and kitchen plus three-bed residential accommodation for the pub manager.

The Bridge is being marketed with a price tag of £150,000. Offers must be received by 5pm tomorrow, Thursday 18 November.

Another pub up for sale through Colliers is The Crown & Anchor at Mixenden in Halifax, which also has a price tag of £115,000. This pub is a large detached building situated in a rural location, which Colliers has said would be suitable for other uses if the buyers did not wish to use it as a pub.

The final pub for sale is The Orange Tree, located on Cross Street in Halifax town centre. Offers are invited for the freehold of the pub, but no price tag has been suggested as yet. The property is also suitable for alternative uses, according to Colliers International.
