HF Holidays completes hotel purchase

HF Holidays has completed the purchase of the Longmynd Hotel in the Shropshire Hills, it has been confirmed.

Reports from the Shropshire Star confirmed that the sale of the hotel by the Chapman family to HF Holidays was completed last week on a five-year lease purchase agreement. It is understood that the deal was worth several million, although the last known figure – the market price in October – was £1.75 million.

Contractor and developer Pochin is concluding plans to sell its loss-making concrete pumping business, it has been reported.

The company first revealed that it was having problems with the division in its half-year results for the six months to December.
